Paying higher rates has little to do with getting a better inspector.

Buying a home?  It is probably the most expensive purchase you will ever make.  This is no time to shop prices.   The cost of a home inspection is very small relative to the home being inspected.  Some inspection organizations tell there members to charge more. They have the concept of work less for the same money. This statement could be taken as a sign of laziness and is not what you would be looking for in a home inspector. If you want to pay more then let me know, I will charge you more.

You have recently been crunching the numbers, negotiating offers, adding up closing costs, shopping for mortgages and trying to get the best deals.  Do not stop now.  Shop for the right inspector and not prices.

OUR PRICE SCHEDULE

We charge by the square foot of the property. The price generally range between  $195.00 (less than 1000 sq. ft.) and $300.00.  (2500 - 3000 sq. ft.).  Larger property as based on size and type; call for a quote. We try to be very competitive with our pricing and give the best service we can. I can honestly say, after 14 years of this work, that I am a firm believer all homes should be inspected prior to purchasing. This includes new homes and properties purchased from family members.
